Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security and Information Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cyber security and information assurance to our products and systems, ensuring data security to our customers, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Experience with Department of Defense Information Assurance (IA) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement cyber security for Products and Systems: Study, review system architecture, conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security risks. Design and Implement security measures to protect the products, systems from cyber threats.
  • Incident Response: Design, develop, test and deploy security response measures on a timely manner for products and systems in response to security updates from vendors or security incidents reported from field. Capable of doing Threat and Vulnerability analysis is a plus
  • Compliance: Ensure that the products and systems follow relevant regulations and industry standards, such as Defense IA and STIGs, and ISO 27001. Be the single point of contact on cyber security and information assurance to the customers.
  • Security Policies: Develop, document and train users on security policies, procedures, and guidelines for the product and systems, in collaboration with the customer’s cyber security team, following the customer cyber security policies.

 Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cyber security and information assurance. Exposure to US Department of Defense IA and STIGs is a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM. Knowledgeable using scan tools like Nessus, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and other vulnerability scanners.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
