Job Designation

The Cycle Count Coordinator is an essential position in ensuring that the inventory needs of operations are met and that inventory records are accurate. They always ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory by researching inventory variances, maintaining the integrity of the product locations and monitoring material receipts and other material movement transactions. Areas of inventory will be monitored using a computerized database system to ensure the accuracy of the inventory and the fulfillment of operational requirements.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform the following inventory control activities such as cycle counts, location audits, transfers, adjustments, scrap, A, B, C management, obsolescence, discrepancies and reporting numbers to management.
  • Keep accurate records for all inventory related issues and accuracy by using monthly reporting.
  • Develop and maintain accurate processes and procedures to improve operational deficiency.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Ensure all inventory locations have locations and are labeled accordingly
  • Work with other depts with abbrev updates and Rev Roll Reports, report performance where needed
  • Other responsibilities related to working with and in the warehouse when needed.

Job Specifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business operations or related field preferred not required. 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

Personal Attributes

  • Demonstrate expertise in inventory control activities
  • Familiar with inventory control setup and transaction within ERP system
  • Proficiency with Cost Point preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift to 50lb
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with computers (Excel, Outlook, Etc.)
  • Ability to apply simple math concepts to practical situation
