ATLANTA, September 2, 2025 – For global defense and public safety agencies seeking the most realistic scenarios for virtual training, InVeris announces a partnership to combine the best in visualizations with the most realistic weapons training systems on the market today. InVeris is expanding its partnership with Bohemia Interactive Simulations by adding VBS4 and Blue IG to its expanding list of supported multi-domain simulation software solutions.
This upgrade isn’t just a technical enhancement – it’s a strategic move that amplifies InVeris’ proven training solutions and strengthens the shared ecosystem the defense industry is building. This advancement reflects a clear trajectory toward greater realism, seamless connectivity, and accelerated readiness. VBS4 software allows organizations to create virtual battlespaces at any geospecific location for terrain building, mission planning, ground-based scenarios, and thorough debriefing. And when combined with InVeris’ innovative BlueFire® weapons that replicate the form, fit and function of live weapons with wireless communications, this upgrade delivers faster, more realistic, and more effective training to those who protect us.

VBS4 (Virtual Battlespace) is a scalable virtual and constructive simulation platform trusted by InVeris’ customers including the U.S. Army, Marine Corps and more than 60 nations, supporting the training of hundreds of thousands of military personnel worldwide. Blue IG is the image generator responsible for rendering high-fidelity whole-earth visuals (from orbital views, terrain and atmospheric effects, down to detailed ground elements like grass and foliage) as directed by VBS4, the simulation host.
VBS4 is built to connect systems and capabilities, not compete with them, ensuring seamless collaboration across platforms. It also allows InVeris to be cost-effective at scale by leveraging commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technology, prebuilt content, and proven integrations to reduce risk and accelerate delivery. VBS4 is being integrated into fats 100MIL screen-based variants, in which up to 60 weapons can be assigned for up to 15 trainees for concurrent exercises, including Blast Overpressure mitigation weapon systems, and can be linked to Xiphos (Call For Fire/JTAC trainer), Dvorak Weapons, and Haptech Electric Recoil Weapons.
“InVeris’ integration into the VBS4 ecosystem enhances capability while avoiding redundant costs — a win for our partners and end users alike,” said InVeris chief executive officer Clyde Tuggle.
